Project RED-y for ME
Project RED-y for ME (Menstrual Equity) is a platform focusing on menstrual health and equity. Nowadays, a lot of women have to make an excuse or feel shamed during their period days, more so when you're a student and sometimes don't have any idea when your period will kick in. This issue has become a taboo or sensitive topic for most of us, especially women, which confines them to taking menstrual health discussion to the private sphere. Access to education and menstrual health products is a human right. This project aims to reach the community of women at the College of Business and Management and outside. This will be possible through the three (3) stages of the campaign:
Educate:
- Symposium
Empower:
- Income Generated Project (IGP) would like menstrual health products such as pads, cloth, tampons, and cups to be made available for consumption and convenience. The profit generated from it will be used to purchase again MHP’s and donate to recipients with no high purchasing power.
Engage:
- Utilize social media platforms and person-to-person communication to promote menstrual health and equity by providing them flyers or brochures centralizing information on the said matter.
